This step-by-step guide walks you through reconnecting the email account Occudule uses for school-message syncing. You may need to do this when:
- Your session expired. Occudule signed you out of your email provider for security.
- You upgraded your plan. A Premium or Diamond upgrade can require extra permissions, such as calendar sync.
- The connection was reset. Occudule can no longer reach the Gmail, Outlook, Live, MSN, or Hotmail account you linked for syncing.
Step 1: Open User Profile
- From the home screen, tap Profile in the top-right corner.
- Select User Profile.
Step 2: Find Syncing and Integration
On the User Profile screen, scroll down to the Syncing | Integration section.
Step 3: Start Reconnection
Tap the box that shows your linked email address (labeled Email Account (for syncing)).
Step 4: Authorize Access
A confirmation prompt will ask you to allow your email provider to share information with Occudule.
- Gmail: You may see "Occudule wants to use accounts.google.com to Sign in". Tap Continue.
- Microsoft (Outlook, Live, MSN, or Hotmail): Follow the Microsoft sign-in prompt, then tap Continue.
Step 5: Complete Sign-In
- Select the same email address already linked to your Occudule account.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to grant permission.
When linking succeeds, you should see "Your email account is linked for syncing." Tap OK. Email syncing—and calendar sync, if your plan includes it—resumes automatically.
If you have not connected an email account yet, start with how to create and set up your free Occudule account. To see what calendar sync and related features include, review the Occudule features outline.
